About

Brooke Morrill -by trevor christensen -0345.jpg

Hey there, I'm Brooke Morrill.

I’m a photographer and my artist’s journey has led me into marketing to manage content full-time for other companies. I wouldn’t have expected that either when I graduated photo school, however, here I am and marketing is my jam! Since I’ve switched over, I’ve had less time to do freelance photography and I’m not currently taking clients. Now my website serves as a portfolio.

In the past I’ve photographed for clients who’ve needed creative content, product photography, or stop-motion videography. A few brands I’ve photographed or have made stop motions for are Lakanto, Chuck-A-Rama, BRAID, Total Pac, GöBe Kids, Utah Valley University, Last Course Dessert Co, and Nomi Wear.

I’ve produced shoots as an assistant photo editor at NYU Langone Health, been a photographer's assistant on large commercial shoots, Art Director, Photographer and Photo Editor for the UVU Review, and interned at Uncommon Goods and Maine Media Workshops.

When I'm not busy strategizing content, you might still see some of my work on Instagram, Facebook, see what I’m inspired by on Pinterest, or connect with me on LinkedIn.

You’re still hanging around, so here are five things you might not know about me:

1. I graduated with a BFA in Photography and a Minor in Art History.

2. I love learning and I usually read or listen to 50 books a year.

3. My favorite abstract artist is Magritte.

4. My sisters and I enjoy cat memes and send them to each other as a weird sister love language.

5. Tacos are life.
